Award-winning author Declan Henry appoints Palamedes PR to promote new book on the Lahori Ahmadiyya Movement
Book PR agency Palamedes has been appointed by award-winning non-fiction author Declan Henry.
The consultancy will be working with Mr Henry on the promotion of his forthcoming book, The Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement.
The Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement uncovers the rich history and beliefs of the Lahori Ahmadiyya Muslims, a small splinter Islamic sect in Pakistan.
Forming part of the wider Ahmadiyya Muslim community, they are shunned and face terrible persecution in their home country for their beliefs, includes imprisonment, torture and even death.
Mr Henry spent time with Lahore Ahmadiyya Muslims last year, interviewing dozens about their daily struggles as well as their conviction in their faith and their hopes for the future.
The Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement, which will be published through Squirrel Publishing, will be Mr Henry’s ninth book.
His work falls within the human interest genre and is noted for examining how people and communities conquer their adversaries.
He was the bronze winner of the 2017 Independent Publisher Book Award in the LGBT non-fiction list for his book Trans Voices – Becoming Who You Are.
