Author Julian Doyle, the celebrated Monty Python film editor, reappoints Palamedes PR

We are delighted to be working once again with Julian Doyle, the multi-award-winning feature film director, playwright, editor, scriptwriter and author.

Following a successful campaign to promote his novel The Jericho Manuscript last year, we shall working with Mr Doyle on the promotion of his forthcoming book, The After-Life of Brian.

Set for release in December, The After-Life of Brian is a fascinating and thought-provoking investigation into the life of the historical Jesus.

It is the culmination of more than 40 years’ research, initially inspired while Julian was working on Monty Python’s Life of Brian, which he edited.

It follows all available historical evidence to reveal an extraordinary list of revelations that promise to unravel the “true story of Jesus” once and for all.

In addition to his work on Monty Python’s Life of Brian, Mr Doyle is most famous for being Special FX photography and production manager for Monty Python and The Holy Grail, and shooting the special effects for Terry Gilliam’s classic Time Bandits and Brazil, which he also edited.

Other credits include directing cult classic Chemical Wedding, which he wrote with Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson, and Twilight of the Gods, a celebrated play.

For all media enquiries, including review copies of The After-Life of Brian or interviews with Julian Doyle, please ccontact publicist Anthony Harvison.
